Friday #LinkLove

After posting earlier this week about myself for the first time ever (I can tell you that there is a man I know reading this, rolling his eyes and wishing I talked about myself and my opinions as little as I post about them!), everything just seems to have clicked into place. I got a promotion, I had a brilliant time dancing Tuesday night away with new friends and I just realised for the first time in what seems like a long time that everything is pretty great. It's wonderful to finally feel like I'm back in the light. Yay for that.

Anyway, I have discovered some lovely blogs over the past seven days through #bbloggers on Twitter (Wednesdays and Sundays at 8pm GMT, ladies!) and through your comments here. I have to say, I love getting feedback on my posts, interacting with you all and discovering new blogs so much that I am guaranteed to look at your blog if you link to it in the comments - so please do include your URL! I think sometimes people can be a little bit wary of doing so as they worry that the host blogger will think they're only leaving a comment for a bit of coverage. Well, if you ask me, we're all in this for the same reasons: to share out thoughts, opinions, experiences, have fun writing, to learn about new products and places, to interact and build friendships with like-minded people and hopefully to grow our blogs and our audiences while we do that. I'm sure I'm not alone in knowing precisely how many followers I have and getting excited when I see the number go up (and feel really disappointed if it ever goes down!) So, if we can all help each other get a little more exposure, I can only think of that being a good thing.

So, with all the above in mind, it's time to share the love!

It's no exaggeration when I say that Wendy from MASPOOASE has changed my blogging life this week. A simple tweet from her to tell me that anyone trying to comment on my posts had to complete a stupid CAPTCHA verification had me rushing to my settings and would you believe, the number of comments increased massively (and they weren't even spam!) This kind gesture totally sums up to me what the blogging community should be about, and I am eternally grateful. Oh, and she has some gorgeous nail posts on her blog, too!
